Save Original Thinking

Last night I got to go see a screening of 50/50 which stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen. When you hear of a movie where the central plot revolves around the main character having cancer you would think it would be a very serious film that requires tissues. This isn’t the case with 50/50 which was filled with many moments that had the entire theater laughing. That isn’t to say there weren’t touching, tear producing moments because there were. But right as you were reaching for something to wipe your eyes the mood would change and you’d be laughing again. This is a film that I’ll be recommending highly to everyone. It was wonderful.

50/50 will be released everywhere on 30 September 2011 from Summit Entertainment in collaboration with Mandate Pictures. It was written by Will Reiser and directed by Jonathan Levine.
